I will be testifying tomorrow at a joint hearing by the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Telecom and Technology and Several of the Foreign Affairs Committees tomorrow, February 5 at 10:30 a.m. The hearing, Fighting For Internet Freedom: Dubai and Beyond will focus on the World Conference on International Telecommunications (WCIT) that took place in Dubai this past December.
If you click on the Hearing Homepage tomorrow, there should be a link for livestreaming. I am hoping this will prove entertaining and informative. Well, at least informative.
Stay tuned . . .

Harold,
Mazel tov. Break a leg. Good luck. Give ’em hell.
You need to shine. So much is riding on your ability to communicate to our lawmakers (some of whom are imbeciles, or evil, or both) exactly what is at stake. You absolutely must hit a home run tomorrow in your testimony.
The thing is, I don’t feel bad about putting that kind of pressure on you. Because I know for certain that you *will* hit that home run. If I could pick anybody in the entire United States of America to go before Congress to explain why, to use a Feldian locution, This Stuff Is Important, it would be you. So you go, brother, and you knock ’em dead. You just fucking knock ’em dead.
We are so lucky to have you speak for us, and as a Wetmechanic I am nearly bursting with pride just to be associated with you. What a Rock Star!
My mother’s mother, Sarah (Connor) McFall would have said to me, were I you and were she still around, in her thick Glasgow (Glaswigian) accent, “God go wi’ ye.” And I’ll say the same. If I were a Jew I couldn’t say the G word, but I’m not. So I’ll just say it & I trust you’ll take this as I intend it: May God go with you. Amen.
